Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prizes 2019

Congratulations to Natasha Bieniek, Robert Malherbe, Tjungkara Ken, Sylvia Ken and Leslie Rice who are finalists in this year’s prizes.

Bieniek, Malherbe and Rice are seasoned entrants to the Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prizes. Bieniek, who won the Wynne Prize in 2015, has entered her work ‘Reflection’ and has her work ‘Waiting for Arden’ in the Archibald Prize. Malherbe who has been a finalist in the Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prizes on multiple occasions, entered his work ‘Lithgow, path to water’. Rice, who has also been a previous finalist in the Archibald and Sulman Prizes, entered his work ‘Teha’amana and her husband Paul Gauguin’. Tjala Arts artists, Tjungkara Ken and Sylvia Ken, have also been previous finalists in recent Wynne Prizes.
