Brett Whiteley Travelling Art Scholarship 2018

Monica Rohan is a finalist for the Brett Whiteley Travelling Art Scholarship 2018 and was highly commended for her work.

Celebrating its 20th year in 2018, the Brett Whiteley Travelling Art Scholarship is a scholarship for young Australian painters and consists of $40,000 and a three-month residency at the Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris. This year’s judge was artist Ben Quilty, who selected this year’s winner from 13 finalists, shortlisted from 154 entries.

An exhibition of finalists’ works is held at the Brett Whiteley Studio in Sydney’s Surry Hills.
