Marina Strocchi at Newcastle Art Gallery

Marina Strocchi’s work will feature in the upcoming exhibition, Black White & Restive: cross cultural initiatives in Australian contemporary art at Newcastle Art Gallery.

Curated by Una Rey, the exhibition which opens during National Reconciliation Week aims to explore the engagements between Aboriginal and non-Indigenous artists. Featuring the work of more than sixty artists including Newcastle Art Gallery collection works by Mellor, Gordon Bennett, Imants Tillers, Margaret Preston and Ildiko Kovacs, the exhibition reveals the diversity of approaches to cross-cultural art practice.
