Now representing Lucy Culliton

We are delighted to welcome Lucy Culliton to the gallery and look forward to working with her in the future.

A celebrated Australian artist, Culliton’s oil paintings capture the beauty found amongst her home in regional southern New South Wales. Life in the country informs her oeuvre, with the farm, garden and flowers featuring as subjects. These works sit beside portraiture of her friends, family and animals, as well as collections of objects from within her home and local country fairs. Culliton’s luminous richly textured artworks, and in particular, her still lifes, are meticulously arranged and composed providing evidence of her unique perspective and technique.

She is a regular finalist in the Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prizes and has won numerous prizes, including the 2006 Portia Geach Memorial Award. Her work is represented in the collections of the National Gallery of Australia, Art Gallery of New South Wales, Macquarie Bank and Parliament House, Canberra.
