Robert Malherbe in the Kilgour Prize 2019

Congratulations to Robert Malherbe who has been announced as a finalist in the Kilgour Prize 2019.

The Kilgour Prize champions innovation in the field of portrait and figurative painting and awards a major prize of $50,000. This year’s prize will be judged by Lauretta Morton, Director of Newcastle Art Gallery, alongside guest judges; Jon Cattapan, Artist and Director of the VCA, University of Melbourne and Michael Dagostino, Director of Campbelltown Arts Centre.

Malherbe’s current solo exhibition, Painted from Life, is also current at Jan Murphy Gallery until 13 July.
