Congratulations to Gerwyn Davies who is a finalist in the Sunshine Coast Art Prize 2026 with his work, Meat tray. This acquisitive award attracts entries from around Australia, showcasing excellence in 2D contemporary arts practice and new media. Constructed using fabric recycled from the costumes the artist wears in his photographic self-portraits, Meat tray demonstrates the artist’s evolving art practice and further exploration of the aesthetic of camp.
