Congratulations to Natasha Bieniek who has been announced as a finalist in the 2026 Portia Geach Memorial Award with her work, The folding. Named in memory of artist and commentator Portia Geach, this prestigious annual prize is presented to an Australian woman artist for a portrait painting of a man or woman distinguished in the arts, sciences or letters. Natasha is a previous winner of the Portia Geach, having been awarded the prize in 2015 for another self-portrait, Sahara.
