This exhibition brings together two of the artist’s works, ‘Fairy Bower Rorschach’ from the Art Gallery of New South Wales collection and ‘Kuta Rorschach No. 2’ from the Bendigo Art Gallery collection.
With the Rorschach works, Quilty selects images of tourist destinations with a dark history behind them, reworks them, creating works that delve further into the sometimes sinister, complex issues of Australian identity and history. ‘The Entangled Landscape’ offers visitors the opportunity to experience two of the artist’s significant Rorschach works up close.
