A major publication on Ben Quilty has been released by Penguin Random House Australia to coincide with a retrospective of his work at the Art Gallery of South Australia (then touring to QAGOMA and the Art Gallery of New South Wales). The publication, titled ‘Ben Quilty’, documents the artist’s career to date and includes work from his early career through to his more recent projects. Featuring a forward by acclaimed writer and friend to the artist, Richard Flanagan, as well as texts by Lisa Slade, Vincent Namatjira, Justin Paton and Frank Young.
