Gerwyn Davies is featured in the November issue of Harper’s Bazaar Australia/New Zealand.
Wearing costumes made especially for the fashion spread, the artist is featured in a curated ‘It’ handbag editorial. Playing upon the textures and colours of the bags, Davies created a series of bright and bold costumes and photographs. Alexander English’s accompanying article explores the artist’s use of photography and ‘wearable sculptures’ in his practice, as well his forthcoming exhibition at the Museum of Sydney – ‘Iridescent’ which opens in December.
