Congratulations to Gerwyn Davies, winner of the Clayton Utz Art Award 2023!
Judged by artist Sam Cranstoun, the award recognises an outstanding contemporary artwork with a connection to Queensland. Gerwyn’s winning work ‘Resort’ was shot during his 2022 artist-in-residence at The Calile Hotel, where he utilised the distinct architecture as the backdrop for his ‘Pleasure’ series.
