Guido Maestri’s exhibition, ‘Stories from Homedale – Guido Maestri’ is now showing at the newly opened Mudgee Arts Precinct, in regional NSW.
For the last year Guido has travelled back to his hometown of Mudgee to create a series of dynamic landscape paintings that are imbued with a connection to his formative years. The exhibition explores memories of his childhood home ‘Homedale’, his experiences of the vast landscape, alongside recollections from the illustrated children’s book ‘The Bunyip of Berkeley’s Creek’.
