Heidi Yardley and Linde Ivimey exhibitions featured on InDaily

The new solo exhibitions by Linde Ivimey and Heidi Yardley, I will remember you and Trick of the light, have been profiled in an article published on InDaily. In the article, writer Louise Martin-Chew explores the emotionally charged sculptures by Ivimey, discussing her shift toward using new materials and the catharsis of her meticulous studio process following the recent death of her mother. Alongside Ivimey’s sculptures are a collection of paintings by Heidi Yardley, demonstrating the artist’s ongoing use of 1970s source material which, as described by the artist, uses “not to illustrate nostalgia but to unsettle it and expose the latent tensions, desires and anxieties embedded in the images of glamour and femininity”.
