Keith Burt’s 2019 Archibald Prize work, ‘Benjamin Law: happy sad’ has been featured in an article in the Sydney Morning Herald.
In the article, writer Louise Rugendyke touches on 6 renowned subjects, exploring the unique experience of sitting for the Archibald. In discussing his experience sitting for his portrait with Burt, Benjamin Law noted that, “on the day I sat for him, for what would result as the painting that was entered in the Archibald, I’d come to Brisbane for a funeral. So he caught me in a less typical kind of mood.” (Benjamin Law, 2021)
