Congratulations to Keith Burt, winner of the Most Outstanding 3D Artwork category at the Stanthorpe Art Prize 2026.
Established in 1972, the Stanthorpe Art Prize is a biennial award that attracts entries from artists across Australia. This year’s judging panel included renowned Australian artists Wendy Sharpe and Julie Fragar. On describing the sculpture, Fragar noted, “this work expertly combines the solid form of sculpture with gesture of painting, making an uneasy but compelling object.”
Keith’s award-winning work is currently on display alongside the other finalists at Stanthorpe Regional Art Gallery until 23 August.
