Lara Merrett was recently commissioned to create a new artwork for Shoalhaven Regional Gallery’s summer exhibition, WONDER + DREAD: Art in the Land of Weather Extremes.
Renowned for her large scale works, Merrett’s WONDER + DREAD commission will respond to “the recent Shoalhaven fires by exploring the ‘precious, delicate, rare and raw’ landscape left behind near the artist’s home at Bendalong.” (Shoalhaven Regional Gallery)
Visitors to the exhibition can see the artist’s installation until 30 January 2021.
