Leith Maguire’s ‘Recent Drawings’ – Online Exhibition

Recent Drawings is a new online exhibition by Leith Maguire, which presents a delicate body of work referencing memories, objects and landscapes. Produced during a time described by the artist as “an enforced period of rest” – this exhibition captures the Leith’s meticulous drawing process and continued visual investigations of flora and fauna.

Maguire lives in Melbourne and also works as a Weaver Intern at the Australian Tapestry Workshop. In 2013, the artist was awarded the Hill End Artist Residency and in 2016 had her work presented by Jan Murphy Gallery at the Spring 1883 Art Fair in Melbourne.
