A new site-specific sculptural work by Lincoln Austin has been installed at the Rockhampton Museum of Art. Titled,’The Weight of Experience’ and created with the assistance of Chelsea Jewell, the suspended sculptural form catches the light and casts shadows as it moves, while at the same time, the sculpture is overlayed with a colour coded animation of poetry texts submitted by the community.
