Martin Smith’s work, ‘Fix it up’, has been featured in the latest issue of Artlines magazine. Produced in 2010, the artist recently gifted this work to the QAGOMA collection. Through the juxtaposition of photographic imagery and cut lettering, this work touches on the artist’s recollection of a traumatic event – the destruction of an old tree.
