Work by Michael Cook will be featured in Les Recontres d’Arles 2025. Arguably the world’s oldest most renowned photography festival, Michael Cook is among 20 Australian artists featured in this year’s iteration, which will open in July in Arles, France. This Australian component of the festival, ‘On Country: Photography from Australia’, brings together work by both First Nations artists and non-Indigenous artists. Michael Cook’s 2014 series, ‘Majority Rule’ will be presented at the festival.
