Last night saw the unveiling of a new bronze sculpture by Guido Maestri at the Art Gallery of New South Wales (AGNSW), who was honoured to be the first artist commissioned for the new Pallion Garden Terrace.
Commissioned and supported by the Pallion Foundation, the new work titled ‘Old Man Banks’ is a monumental bust of botanist, Joseph Banks. The work is the first installation of many planned for a sculpture terrace that Pallion has also donated to AGNSW.
