Congratulations to Robert Malherbe who has been announced as a finalist in the 2019 Paddington Art Prize with his work ‘Across the Lake’. Malherbe has had a busy year presenting his work in multiple prizes including the 2019 Wynne Prize as well his solo show, Painted from Life, at Jan Murphy Gallery.
The Paddington Art Prize is a national acquisitive art prize for painting inspired by the Australian landscape. The winner of the $30,000 award will be announced at the opening night on 17 October.
