23.05.19 Now Represented - Tim Edwards

Tim Edwards is now represented by Jan Murphy Gallery.

Tim Edwards’ practice spans glassmaking and drawing. His vessel forms are informed by a variety of mediums including film, animation, comics and graphic novels.

On Edwards’ work, writer Margot Osborne articulates:

“They hover between two and three dimensions, giving the illusion of being almost flat when viewed from a distance. This two-dimensional illusion is reinforced by the black delineations of the vessels Tim has titled Line Drawings, and as they have grown out of his drawings. While drawing is an additive process, these drawings in glass are created by a reductive process as he painstakingly carves away the black outer layer to reveal the clear or coloured glass underneath.

Tim Edwards’ profile and selected works are now viewable online on our website.
